Die neue Videokamera von Panasonic ist 11cm x 6cm x 3cm gross und speichert auf SDHC-Karten, womit bei einer Kapazität von 4GB bis zu 100 Minuten Video möglich sind. Die Kamera ist in nur 1.7 Sekunden betriebsbereit, wodurch sie sich für spontane Schnappschüsse eignet. Weiters verfügt die Kamera über ein spritzwassergeschütztes Gehäuse und überlebt angeblich Stürze aus 1,2m Höhe.

Panasonic zielt mit der SDR-S10 nicht so sehr auf das Profisegment ab, sondern vielmehr auf Leute, welche für YouTube und Co. rasch einige lustige Filme drehen wollen. Die SDR-S10 soll ab Mai erhältlich sein.

Nokia kündigte heute an, dass künftig YouTube-Videos über Nokia Nseries Multimedia Computer abrufbar sind. Die YouTube-Videos können dank der in Kürze verfügbaren neuen mobilen Internetseite von YouTube über den Nokia Internet-Browser mit Mini-Map-Funktion genutzt werden. Zusätzlich kann der User über die neue "Nokia Video Center"-Anwendung auch YouTube Video-Newsfeeds nützen.
